WHAT OUR FAMILIES ARE SAYING:
-
"Danielle from Nourished quite literally saved Collins and I's breastfeeding journey. I highly recommend not only seeing a lactation consultant if you can (especially if you are a first time mom!), but if you are local, I definitely recommend Katie and Danielle from Nourished. To keep this long story short, my daughter had a little bit of a weight scare after her two month check-up and Danielle came over quite literally that next day to help me troubleshoot and come up with a plan of attack so we could *hopefully* continue our breastfeeding journey, and spoiler alert, we were able to do just that! She has SO much knowledge in this space and I just don't know what I would have done without her guidance. We are now 10 months into our breastfeeding journey and I can't say I would be here now if it weren't for Danielle's help. If you are a KC mom or a local mom-to-be, I cannot recommend them more!"

"I highly recommend the ladies at Nourished for lactation support! As a first time mom needing help feeding my baby, I was so relieved to find out that they would come to our house and that we didn’t have to get ready and go somewhere to receive services! After I reached out & left a message, they called me back on the same day and got me on the schedule for a day or two out. Yes, they even work on weekends! My insurance covered the visits. Katie came to our house, was so kind and helpful and made me feel at ease. She assisted with getting my son to latch even though he had already formed a preference for bottle feeding. She stayed to answer all my questions and was also available via email after the visit. Katie is a wonderful champion of all moms! I cannot say enough great things about Nourished!"

"Danielle was such a strong support for me and my daughter during an overwhelming postpartum breastfeeding journey. She was patient and kind. She also sent the information we discussed during our meetings via email (without me even needing to ask) because, let’s face it, mom brains are mush on minimal sleep. It was little things like that which made the service so extra helpful! She also normalized the concerns and fears I was having and reduced the stigma around certain decisions we made for our baby, emphasizing that we know what’s best for her (specifically after we had received some negative commentary after choosing to use a pacifier in the hospital). I will appreciate that kindness forever! I cherished her guidance and support, and feel so lucky to still be successfully nursing my 6 month old today thanks to Danielle!"

“Katie was so supportive as my son struggled to gain weight in the first few weeks of life. Her caring demeanor made me instantly feel comfortable as fist time mom and I was so thankful to have her. The convenice of home visits can not be stressed enough during those early days. I also appreciated her knowledge and experience while planning my return to work with pumping recommendations and schedules. Happy to say I made it past my goal of six months and honestly I think having someone to walk through those early days with me made all the difference!"
